OverviewThe San Diego International Airport, Lindbergh Field, has recently undergone a $232 million renovation project, which included the upgrading of both terminals, with the addition of a pedestrian overpass and improved parking facilities.
The airport is located just minutes from downtown. A taxi from the airport to downtown generally runs between $7 and $10. Shuttles and rental car companies are also available to get you where you’re going. The airport is also served by the Metropolitan Transit System bus route #992.
Many area hotels have a shuttle service to the airport, check with yours to arrange a pick-up.
