 The Old Globe Theater, located in Balboa
Park, is a leader in regional repertory theaters. California's oldest professional theater, the Tony Award-winning organization produces thirteen works a year, both Shakespearean and contemporary, on its three stages: Old Globe Theatre, the Cassius Carter Centre Stage, and the outdoor Lowell Davies Festival Theatre. The Old Globe is renowned for their productions of contemporary plays and musicals that often find their way to Broadway.
